Responsibilities
- Carry out hydraulic modelling and design of potable water networks and conveyance mains, wastewater and sewerage networks, and storm water drainage
- Deliver models, studies, designs and reports for hydraulic projects, including master plans, feasibility studies, detailed designs, technical specifications and bills of quantities
- Design hydraulic structures associated with networks, including pumping stations, reservoirs, open channels and outlet works
- Produce and check design drawings, calculation notes and technical documentation
- Coordinate design deliverables with other disciplines and with the project team
- Contribute technically to the preparation of technical and financial offers on water tenders
Requirements
- MSc degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering
- Member of the Order of Engineers and Architects of Beirut or Tripoli
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering consulting
- Experience in hydraulic modelling of networks: potable water, conveyance mains, storm water, wastewater and sewerage
- Proficiency in WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS
- Ability to deliver technical designs, specifications and other consultancy reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus
- Experience designing reservoirs, pumping stations, open channels and spillways is a plus
- Experience with soil classifications and slope stability software (Geoslope or equivalent) is a plus
- Able to work well in a team and independently, manage time and expectations, and perform under pressure
