Al-Suwaiq Sewerage, Treatment Plant and Reuse Networks

Al-Suwaiq, on Oman's northern Al Batinah coast, needed a Phase I wastewater programme to give its growing urban area modern sewerage and treated-effluent reuse. Oman Water & Wastewater Services Company commissioned an integrated design and supervision mandate in 2024.

Scope covers the Phase I sewer network, the treated-effluent distribution network and the sewage treatment plant serving Al-Suwaiq, sized for current and forecast demand and delivered to OWWSC engineering and environmental standards.

Al-Suwaiq will have collection, treatment and reuse delivered as a single system under one design-and-supervision mandate.
