Bekaa Potable Water Networks and Reservoirs

The Bekaa valley needed expanded and modernised potable water transmission, distribution and storage to serve growing populations and stabilise service quality. The Council for Development and Reconstruction commissioned the work across two sequential contracts.

Libanconsult delivered the detailed design and tender documents (2004-2008) and supervised execution of the same works (2006-2008), acting as a single engineering partner from design through site supervision.

The works cover potable water transmission lines, distribution networks and reservoirs across the Bekaa region, together with the tendering, contracting and supervision procedures required to deliver them under CDR procedures.

The Bekaa gained new and upgraded potable water infrastructure delivered under continuous design-to-supervision control.
