Central Jbeil Wastewater Scheme

The Central Jbeil area of Mount Lebanon needed expanded wastewater infrastructure to serve a growing urban footprint. The Ministry of Energy and Water commissioned a feasibility study and environmental impact assessment to frame the investment.

Libanconsult delivered the assignment between 2018 and 2020.

The work covered feasibility assessment, alternatives analysis and environmental impact assessment across the collection, transmission and treatment components serving the Central Jbeil region.

The Ministry holds the technical and environmental basis to take Central Jbeil's wastewater infrastructure into detailed design.
