Wastewater Networks and Pumping Stations in Jezzine Caza

Jezzine Caza in South Lebanon needed its wastewater infrastructure modernised across dispersed mountain villages, both to protect downstream waterways and to connect local communities to the regional Qaitouleh Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Council for Development and Reconstruction commissioned two successive mandates.

Libanconsult delivered both: updating of the master plan, feasibility study, EIA, detailed design and tender documents across multiple Jezzine watersheds (2015-2016), then supervision of execution (2018-2021).

The works comprise approximately 33 km of sewer network and house connections at 200 to 400 mm, and pumping stations at Hidab, Saidoun and Maknouniyeh feeding the regional network and the Qaitouleh plant.

Dispersed mountain villages across Jezzine are now connected to regional treatment through 33 km of new sewer.
