Jezzine Potable Water Networks and Reservoirs

The Caza of Jezzine in South Lebanon needed modern water supply and distribution across several of its agglomerations, with transmission and storage able to serve dispersed communities. The Council for Development and Reconstruction commissioned a full engineering package.

Libanconsult delivered the inception report, detailed design, tender documents and construction supervision between 2003 and 2006, leading the programme from early scoping through works execution.

The works comprise approximately 30 km of distribution network up to 200 mm, two pumping stations, reservoirs of up to 1,000 m3 and the associated electromechanical equipment, delivered across the agglomerations of the caza.

Jezzine's agglomerations gained reliable potable water through a scheme designed, tendered and supervised end to end by one consultant.
