Koura Caza Wastewater Conveyors

The Koura Caza in North Lebanon needed coordinated wastewater infrastructure to connect its principal towns to regional treatment. The Council for Development and Reconstruction commissioned a supervision mandate in 2018 for a major conveyance programme across the caza.

Libanconsult has supervised the construction works for the CDR since 2018, with approximately 75 percent of the works completed to date.

The programme comprises approximately 31.5 km of wastewater conveyors at diameters from 200 to 1,500 mm, serving Batroumine, Deddeh, Ras Masqa, Qalamoun and Tripoli, together with lateral sewers in the Batroumine area.

Once complete, the network will carry wastewater from Koura's principal towns to regional treatment, protecting local waterways across the caza.
