Litani River Basin Water and Irrigation Works

The Litani is Lebanon's largest river basin and the backbone of the country's water and irrigation infrastructure. The Economic and Social Fund for Development commissioned supervision of a portfolio of works along it, combining water supply, irrigation and related infrastructure worth around EUR 11.5 million.

Libanconsult delivered design review and construction supervision between 2021 and 2024, covering design validation, quality and schedule control and contractual management under ESFD procedures.

The portfolio spans water supply networks, irrigation canals and networks and associated water infrastructure across multiple packages along the basin.

EUR 11.5 million of water and irrigation works were delivered along the Litani axis under a single supervision mandate.
