Pearl Gas-to-Liquids Effluent Treatment Plant

The Pearl GTL development at Ras Laffan Industrial City is one of the world's largest gas-to-liquids complexes, and its C8 Effluent Treatment Plant carries the site's industrial effluent compliance.

Libanconsult delivered the civil and structural engineering study for the C8 ETP between 2007 and 2008, covering its buildings, hydraulic structures and supporting utilities.

The study covered 33 reinforced concrete buildings and hydraulic structures, the largest spanning 90 m, together with internal roads and potable water and domestic wastewater networks within the plant.

The C8 ETP handles industrial effluent for the Pearl GTL complex, and the structural package behind it was delivered by Libanconsult inside a twelve-month window.
