Ras Nabi Younes Wastewater Treatment Plant

Ras Nabi Younes in Mount Lebanon needed dedicated wastewater treatment capacity as part of Lebanon's post-war sanitation programme. The Council for Development and Reconstruction commissioned construction of the plant.

Libanconsult supervised construction between 2003 and 2006, providing construction supervision, technical assistance and shop drawing approval.

Scope covered the plant's civil, process and electromechanical works through to commissioning and handover to the operator.

The plant brought engineered wastewater treatment to Ras Nabi Younes and its surrounding area.
