Wastewater Networks Serving Saida and Nabatieh Plants

The Saida and Nabatieh Wastewater Treatment Plants serve large regional catchments, but villages upstream across the Jezzine, Saida and Nabatieh cazas had no collection networks connecting them. The Ministry of Energy and Water commissioned a dedicated design package for the connection works.

Libanconsult delivered the detailed design and tender documents between 2015 and 2016.

The design covers sewer networks and house connections across the villages of the three cazas, routed to carry flows toward the Saida and Nabatieh plants, together with the tender documents for execution.

The package gave the Ministry a tender-ready programme to extend regional wastewater service and put spare capacity at the two existing plants to use.
