South Lebanon Federations Wastewater Master Plans

Three federations of municipalities in South Lebanon - Jezzine, Jabal Al Rihane and Iklim Al Toufah - needed coordinated wastewater master plans to frame investment across their member municipalities rather than village by village.

Libanconsult delivered the master plans for all three federations between 2011 and 2013 for the Bureau des Cites et Gouvernements Locaux Unis.

Scope covered baseline characterisation, demand projection and alternatives analysis, culminating in a master plan per federation with a prioritised investment programme for sewer networks, pumping stations and treatment facilities across the member municipalities.

The three federations gained a single coordinated framework for wastewater investment, replacing municipality-by-municipality planning across South Lebanon.
