Village Water and Sanitation Works Across Lebanon

Between 2020 and 2023, UNDP Lebanon needed a standing engineering capability it could call on for infrastructure and environmental works delivered with Lebanese municipalities and water establishments across all four governorates.

Libanconsult held the Long-Term Agreement for the full three-year period, delivering design preparation, design review, site visits, offer evaluation and supervision through a rolling series of individually scoped task orders under a common quality and reporting framework.

The portfolio covered water tanks, irrigation canals, sewage and water treatment plants, sewage, drainage and stormwater networks, agricultural roads, septic tanks, lifting stations, irrigation ponds, land reclamation works and solar pumping installations, in villages and small towns across the South, North, Bekaa and Mount Lebanon.

The LTA gave UNDP a single route to mobilise engineering support quickly across a highly varied portfolio, for three years without re-procurement.
