Batroun North Port

Batroun's northern approach hosts a second, smaller port serving the fishing community on that side of the town, complementing the main Batroun Port to the south.

Libanconsult designed and supervised Batroun North Port for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport between 1998 and 2002, with the works delivered in phases under continuous site supervision.

The port comprises a 135 m main breakwater at 8 m depth with armour protection, together with quay, jetties, buildings and ancillary works sized for a compact fishing operation.

The north side of Batroun has safe, protected berthing scaled to its fleet.
