Kfarabida Port

Kfarabida on Lebanon's northern coast needed a modernised fishing port to shelter its fleet and provide safe berthing and service facilities.

Libanconsult designed and supervised the port for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport across an extended programme from 1995 to 2006, with execution in phases under continuous supervision.

Scope covered the full port infrastructure - breakwater, quay, jetties, port buildings and ancillary works - sized and detailed for the local wave climate and the requirements of the fishing fleet.

Kfarabida's fleet works from a port delivered under eleven years of continuous engineering oversight.
